Minister Marva's Biography
Marva L. Dowdin is the oldest of eight children of four boys and four girls. She attended Piney Oaks Elementary School and graduated from Stratton High School in 1966. She attended Center College and has an Associate Degree in Computer Science.
Minister Dowdin worked during the last two years of high school to help her mother with her other siblings. She then went to live with her father in Dayton, Ohio to work and further help her mother.
It was during this time that she became a fashion model, once entering a contest with hundreds of other models. She won the contest and was the sole female on the Phil Donahue Show modeling with five male models. Later she would go to New York to pursue a modeling career.
However, Minister Dowdin’s heart was back home and she came back to find work at a radio and television station and then with a large corporation as their first female Senior Computer System Analyst and worked there for twenty-six years.
Minister Dowdin experienced the unthinkable, she died in the hospital in 1976 while working at this large corporation and this experience changed her life forever. She wrote a book titled, THE BLUE WALL which was published in 2000 and is sold around the world in many languages on the Internet.
Minister Dowdin also created her Internet web site: www.marvaldowdin.com to inspire and encourage someone who do not know the Lord as their Personal Savior.

Minister Dowdin is serious about her calling and believes that God will raise up many women and men to a higher divine dimension. She is a breast cancer and domestic violence survivor.
Minister Dowdin has been married to Coy E. Dowdin for twenty-nine years and they have two grown sons, Wesley and Michael. She and her husband, Coy mentors other married couples whose marriages are in trouble, but through God working through them, marriages are becoming more stable, full of joy and with happiness and peace.
